Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Training
The Vermont Infragard is hosting a series of no-cost DHS FEMA funded Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) training classes at the VT State EOC (45 State Drive, Waterbury, VT 05671). The training classes are provided by the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX). TEEX is offering the following training courses:
- 2-day MGT 315 Critical Asset Risk Management (CARM) on January 8-9, 2020
- 1-day MGT 414 Advanced Critical Infrastructure Protection (ACIP) on February 4, 2020.
Each training day runs from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. These three classes are part of the 4-class TEEX Infrastructure Protection master certificate series. The 1-day AWR 213 Critical Infrastructure Security & Resilience Awareness rounds out the series. Successful completion of all four classes within a five year period will allow the participant to apply for the TEEX IP master certificate that signifies they have completed 48 hours of DHS FEMA certified training.
